For the second year running, we’ve been nominated by local businessman and long‑time supporter Adam Jolliffe of Formation Lighting as one of just 20 charities chosen to receive a £28,750 donation from the Overbury Charity Quiz.
The Overbury Charity Quiz is an annual fundraising initiative that brings businesses together for an evening of friendly competition, all in aid of raising substantial funds for charities that make a real difference locally.
For a charity rooted in the community, this level of support is truly impactful. The donation will help ensure we can continue running the vital services we provide for men and women across Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth who rely on our support.
A portion of these funds will also be allocated towards helping cover the rent at our recently relocated charity shop on Oxford Street. This support will give our fantastic new Shop Manager, Lorna, the breathing space she needs to settle into her role and put strong processes and workflows in place—ensuring every shopper and donor has the very best experience when visiting the shop. All proceeds from the shop go directly back into supporting our core services, from supporting those experiencing homelessness, to feeding people facing food insecurity, and so much more.
