I love coming to the women’s group because it feels familiar and I’m at home with my friends at the group. Helping Hands supported me through my three years on the streets of Leamington and have always been there after that too. I am slowly healing and I will be forever grateful to all involved.

Founded in 2015, Helping Hands Community Project is dedicated to supporting those facing homelessness, poverty, and hardship.
We provide both practical and emotional support through a range of services, including our Soup Kitchen, Breakfast Club, support groups for men and women with vulnerabilities, as well as our creative social enterprise projects.
Our charity shop helps raise vital funds, while our counselling services offer a safe space for those in need.
We are committed to empowering individuals to regain independence and build a brighter future. Whether it’s a hot meal, or a listening ear, we’re here to help.

Volunteering with helping hands has given me a great sense of purpose and it has taken away my anxiety and lack of self worth.

In 2017 I was homeless and came to helping hands to volunteer, this gave me a hand up and a purpose to get up each morning . With the support of P3 I was given somewhere to live . Helping Hands has been a great support to me , I am now a paid assistant in the Lighthouse shop 2 days a week and get to help lots of other people who need support.
