House 2 Home

Our House to Home project sources and delivers furniture and white goods for individuals and families who are trying to build a new life.

Finding somewhere to live is an exciting and important step but it can also be daunting, especially when you have limited resources to make your new house homely.

Creating a new home often means you’re starting from scratch.

At our warehouse in Stoneleigh, we store furniture and white goods donated by our local community and businesses that give us such incredible support. When someone finds a new home and needs help, we talk to them to see if we have what they need and then our volunteer drivers will deliver the goods.

"A Big Thank you for the single bed and bedding which was delivered today. My resident is over the moon! Also a Big Thank you to your two very kind volunteers who put the bed together for him"

Our volunteer helpers include some of our clients getting a taste of voluntary work as part of a “hand up.” They visibly grow in confidence from helping others and making a real difference and take a valuable step towards employment.

In the last 12 months, we have delivered over 140 new home packs of kitchen essentials and the need for this sort of support remains high. We are always on the lookout for donations and also volunteers to drive our delivery vans and work in the warehouse.
